Jim Bohannon is a radio and television presenter from the United States. He is best known for anchoring The Jim Bohannon Program, a nationally syndicated late-night radio discussion show on the Westwood One Network.

He also presented America in the Morning, which is a nationally syndicated radio news program, for 31 years before retiring in December 2015. After completing from Southwest Missouri State around 1966, Bohannon joined the United States Army and served for four years.

Jim stayed in Washington, D.C. after his release from the US Army, where he worked in a variety of radio roles during the 1970s. They included stops at WTOP and WRC, as well as WGAY, an easy-listening station.

In 1980, Jim returned to his Midwestern origins when he accepted a position at WCFL in Chicago. He obtained a second job as a Chicago bureau correspondent for the new upstart CNN while doing a morning drive at WCFL.
