Yes, Melvin Farmer’s son is in prison. He has already spent four years as he was sentenced in 2018. The son of Melvin Farmer, Melvin Earl Farmer, was found guilty of first-degree burglary, second-degree stealing, and elder abuse and, as a result, is still incarcerated.
He also has three sentenced counts of first-degree home robbery and first-degree burglary in plain view. The cops are required to share any information they have about him since he was sentenced; however, it has been over four years since he was locked up.

Farmer has been given 423 years of a life sentence in state prison. Before that, the jury had convicted him on a total of about 13 felony counts, including several others involving sexual battery and assault.
The police apprehended him as soon after the CCTV video was released. With further investigation, he has been found with a protracted criminal record and a history of stealing and robbery.

Known to be the resident of Lynnwood, he is currently 43 years old. In 2018, police charged Melvin Earl Farmer with robbery and assault on an elderly person, thus giving him a 423-year jail term.

According to the prosecution, the offenses happened between February 2 and February 9. In a senior home complex close to Atlantic Avenue and Via Carmelitos, four women between the ages of 63 and 95 reported being robbed that year.
Not only that, but according to the evidence used in court, Farmer sexually assaulted a 630year-old woman on February 5 during one of the burglaries.
The old lady assaulted was from the 3700 block of Pacific Avenue. She faced violence when she declined to consent to a sexual favor. The victim in that event allegedly fought off her assailant but was hospitalized with non-critical wounds, according to police.
