Jaime Osuna has made headlines for murdering his cellmate. According to state documents, he decapitated and dissected the body of his cellmate, Luis Romero, 44, with a makeshift knife.
Osuna was discovered wearing a necklace made of Romero’s body parts by guards.
He is a self-professed Satanist with tattoo designs all over his face and a constant sadistic smile. Furthermore, he has admitted to tattooing his face to make it look like a villain.
Osuna was said to have cut out one of his cellmate’s eyes, sliced off one of his fingers, removed some of his ribs, and cut up part of his lung while disfiguring Romero.
After decapitating Romero, Osuna allegedly posed with his lifeless body and decided to wear a necklace of his body parts. Romero had been in prison for 27 years and was on the verge of becoming eligible for parole at the time of his death.

According to a report from the state inspector’s general office, Osuna allegedly decided to butcher his cellmate further, removing one of Romero’s eyes, a finger, and part of his lungs before cutting the edges of his mouth to make it look like he was smiling.
When guards went to the cell to check on the prisoners, they found Jaime Osuna’s necklace, made up of pieces of Romero’s body.
On the other hand, Osuna was imprisoned for the rest of his life for the 2011 murder and torture of Yvette Pena, a 37-year-old woman, in a Bakersfield motel.
Osuna developed a dark reputation during his 2017 trial due to his face tattoos and occult behavior reminiscent of Charles Manson.
At the time, he made fun of the victim’s family and boasted to a reporter how much he enjoyed torturing people.

Jaime Osuna’s documentary is unavailable on Netflix, but his interviews can be found on the KGET news YouTube channel and the Thousand Faces podcast website.
The Netflix documentary Jaime Osuna tells the tale of a man who was imprisoned for the 2011 murder of a lady in Bakersfield. Due to the murder of his cellmate two years prior, he was declared unable to stand trial. Osuna’s situation is made public in the movie.

He was held responsible for killing Yvette Pea. While imprisoned, he tortured his victim, leaving her with mutilated body parts. He is still serving a life sentence without the possibility of release after spending nearly three decades in a psychiatric hospital
. He was judged to have a psychological illness in prison, according to psychiatric professionals, and is, therefore unable to be freed.
Reporter Olivia LaVoice sent Jaime Osuna a jailhouse interview request. She was expecting a now as a response. Jaime, on the other hand, surprised Olivia by agreeing to the interview.
The interview is titled the Thousand Faces Podcast because he is thought to have a thousand faces and it is divided into six sections, beginning with his life story and concluding with the level of his cellmate, Romero’s murder.
The murder of Romero has raised the question of why Osuna was assigned a cellmate despite a history of attacking his cellmates.

Jamie Osuna made headlines shortly after being arrested for the murder of Yvette Pena, and he was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole. However, it is expected that he will plead guilty and refuse to continue the legal proceedings during the 2020 trial.

He was declared incompetent to stand trial. However, by 2021, he had returned to normal, and the trial had resumed. Jamie Osuna’s trial was set for July 22, 2022, but no information about what happened in the courtroom has been released.
