Ella holds a Ph.D. in Physical Therapy. She used to work in Mountainside Physical Therapy in Rappahannock, her hometown while she was pursuing her undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech.
While talking to Julia Fair of Rapp News, Ella explained that she ‘got the bug’ for physical therapy as a freshman at Virginia Tech after a shoulder injury. She had a tear in her labrum cartilage while playing softball.
Ella went from being a patient to a healer. It was physical therapists that helped her during her recovery that inspired her to pursue physical therapy as a career. Her family runs a cattle farm in Washington named Ginger Hill Angus, so she considers herself to be a farm girl/ rancher. So, she has a better understanding of the injuries that people sustain while working with large animals and equipments.
Her coworkers have praised her for being a very positive person. And she gets the best out of her patients and is very uplifting not only to her patients but also to the staff.
While addressing her fondest memory of her high school was ballroom dancing in freshman year in PE. Ella’s parents are Anne Miller, who is a nurse practitioner, and her father Dr. Brooke Miller, an MD.

Joe and Ella have two daughters, Katherine and Emma Mantiply; they first met in 2009.
After six years of dating, Joe put a ring on Ella on November 1st, 2015. Joe made it to major in MLB in 2016, and both made it official during the same year. Joe and Ella got married on October 29, 2016.
Ella has joked about how she didn’t want to take on his name after getting married because many people mispronounced it, and she didn’t want to have to spell her name out each time someone mispronounced it.
This year in July, Joe made it to the All-Star, and he called his family over the phone to reveal the news to them. However, their vacation to San Diego was canceled, and Ella was overjoyed for Joe as per a video released by Arizona Diamondbacks on their Twitter. The Mantiply family attended the All-Star red carpet to cheer him on, as he was the only one from Diamondbacks who made it to the All-Star this year.
