Yuliya Levchenko Boyfriend Yuriy Kishchenko Is Also A Professional Athlete

Yuliya Levchenko boyfriend Yuriy Kishchenko is a long distance track runner from Ukraine.

He competes in 1500-meter and 3000-meter track events in indoor and outdoor events in national and international tournaments. He partakes in the 1500 m, the 3000 m steeplechases, the junior cross, the junior cross team event, and the mixed cross country team.

Yuriy is a two times national champion and a one-time indoor champion. He is considered one of this generation’s most decorated Ukrainian athletes.

Born on August 4, 1991, in a small town in Ukraine, the 31-year-old has been on a professional journey since 2010. As a junior, Yuriy partakes in the 2010 Men’s 3000 m Steeplechase – Heat 2 in Canada, where he finished in the top 15 positions.

The same year in December, Yuriy held his hope high for the European Cross Country Championships. He managed to finish in the top ten, securing the sixth position in the competition. That was the highest international rank he ever achieved in any tournaments, past and present.

The highest position he has ever attained was 282 in the Men’s 1500 world rankings. Similarly, his personal best for 1500m outdoors was 3:40.23, which he succeeded in July 2014.

Yuriy won the bronze medal in the 2020 Ukrainian Athletics Indoor Championships in the 1500m event. Kishchenko’s last appearance in a track competition was in June 2021. He participated in Men’s 1500m in the Copenhagen Athletics Games in Denmark and secured 12th position.

Yuriy typically works with coaches and trainers to develop and execute training plans tailored to their specific events and goals. Moreover, he is also a member of the Athletes’ Commission of the International Olympic Committee. 

The commission serves as a liaison between the athletes and the governing body of the sport and works to ensure that the matters and needs of the athletes are considered when judgments are made.

Yuliya And Yuriy have been dating since 2015 and completed their seventh anniversary in 2022.

Yuriy has a picture of him and his girlfriend Yuliya as his Facebook profile picture since he changed it in 2018. Yuliya uploaded the pair’s first picture in October 2015 on Instagram.

Both are hustlers and travelers since they have journeyed to many destinations together throughout the years. In September 2016, Yuliya and Yuriy went on a quad truck safari at Hacılar Mahallesi in Gölbaşı/Ankara village in Turkey. 

Similarly, their next year’s September vacation tour also landed in Turkey. Yuriy shared a picture of them enjoying Içmeler Beach, one of the most peaceful beaches in the country.
In November 2017, he organized a small party for Yuliya’s birthday. They invited a few of their friends and cherished the special occasion with cakes and lots of balloons.

The Ukrainian high jumper posted a picture in May 2019 in which the two of them recreated the image of her taken in the Olympics. In December 2019, the two had a photo shoot in the woods when they showcased their best winter outfits.

Moreover, in August 2019, the sweet athlete couple arranged a small picnic in the Ukraine capital Kyiv sipping a can of Activia. Yuliya captioned the image, saying, “What could be better after the competition than a picnic with Activia? Just a picnic with bae.”

In September 2019, Yuliya And Yuriy attended a wedding reception of their friends Iryna and Sergey. She wore a light green jumpsuit, and her beau wore a blue suit, a perfect match to one another.

Yuliya has her eye set on the 2023 European Athletics Team Championships in June next year.
