Josh Riley is a democrat running for election to represent New York's 19th Congressional District; he won the Democratic primary on the 23rd of August 2022 against Jamie Cheney and is on the ballot in the general election on the 8th of November 2022.
Before running for the election, he served as a partner with Jenner & Block from January 2021 to October 2021. Likewise, he was also the partner and counsel for Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP.
Riley has also worked as General Counsel on the Senate Judiciary Committee for U.S. Senator Al Franken and a Law Clerk to Judge Kim Wardlaw in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He also served as a staff assistant to Congressman Maurice Hinchey and Heyman Fellow for Senator Edward Kennedy.
