Karli Payne Accident Video As Softball Player Death After Injuries

Karli Payne was an 8th-grade Softball player. She was a member of the Louisville Slugger 14U Clark team, and a Pitcher/third baseman.

It is very sad to say that Payne passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022. She was seriously injured after being struck by a car.

Tributes Pour To Karli Payne After Death From Injuries

Payne died after suffering from serious injuries in a car accident. She was hit by the moving vehicle after a fireworks display at her school.

According to the medical reports, Payne suffered head trauma. She was receiving treatment at a medical facility, however, could not survive as the injuries were very severe. She took her last breath on Monday, July 4, 2022.

After the news of Payne’s death four days after it broke, many have expressed their grief on Twitter.

The Lady Sluggers 18 has tweeted: “At 3:16 7/4/2022 God called home Karli Payne. We are all heartbroken and at a loss for words. Karli left an impact that will forever shape our future. Coach the person, not the player! Love these kids every pitch you have the privileged to spend time with them. We love you, Karli”

Coach Christi wrote: “Your body is whole and glorified anew, your wings anointed, your soul in safe heaven. Karli Payne, you have your crown now baby…Rest In Love”

Others expressed their faith that the teen was in heaven while praying for the Payne family and friends.

According to a surveillance video, Karli Payne was walking home with her mother after a firework display. She was suddenly hit by a moving vehicle in an intersection.

On June 30th, while she was attempting to cross Highway 61 in Crystal City when the incident took place. The footage timing showed the accident occurred at about 9:35 p.m. 

Who Are Karli Payne’s Parents? 

Karli Paynes’ parents, Lori and Jerry Payne are devasted after losing their daughter. They have stated that Karli had a “Golden Heart”.

The parents told: “She loved playing volleyball, and softball, and enjoyed baking and decorating cakes. Karli is a blessing and her memories will live on as she is donating her organs to help others needing a miracle.”

“She is going to be dearly missed by all of us. She has affected the lives of so many individuals and families. Her family is forever grateful and appreciative of all the support, prayers, and love that we have received during this difficult time.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Payne’s family. The goal is to raise $100,000 to help the family with medical expenses.
