In 2020, Nick Begich III was an honorary co-chair for Congressman Don Young’s 2020 reelection campaign. He was further a co-chair for the OneAlaska initiative.
As he takes on fellow Republican Don Young, 89, for the seat that Young has held for most of Alaska’s existence as a state, Nick stated that generational change is necessary. Last year in October, Begich III told The Associated Press in an interview- “This race is not about Don Young.”
