According to People,  who attended the event, most attendees were surprised. Most attendees were unaware that it was a wedding celebration.

When they got upstairs, they initially believed there to be a party, but as soon as the screen opened, Robert and Dana appeared. Elton John introduced them as “husband and wife” as she was dressed in a bridal gown.

The Couple Started Dating In 2019

Dana Blumberg and Robert Kraft started dating in 2019. They made their first public appearance as a pair at the French Open in June of that year and later made appearances at several other events throughout the summer.

They first appeared together in 2017 at an Elton John AIDS Foundation event when Blumberg was photographed with one of Kraft’s Super Bowl rings. It is unclear how or when the couple initially met.

Honoree Tommy Hilfiger announced on stage that Kraft and Blumberg had just been engaged on March 5, 2022, at the first amfAR Gala in Palm Beach, Florida.

Robert Kraft Was Previously Married

The Patriots owner Robert Kraft previously married his college sweetheart Myra Hiatt Kraft in 1963, and they were together until 2011. They have four sons together, and Myra passed away from ovarian cancer in July 2011 at 68 in her home in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Kraft was romantically involved with the 42-year-old actress Ricki Noel Lander from 2012 to 2018. She has appeared in supporting roles in movies like Iron Man, Ant-Man, and Movie 43.

Dana Blumberg is a famous doctor and ophthalmologist. Dana decided to engage in the medical industry at a very young age because she is the daughter of medical doctors.

She completed her MD at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where she also completed her internship. She then worked as a resident physician at University Hospital Cleveland.

Billy Sullivan, the owner of the New England Patriots, was prohibited from hosting non-Patriot events at the stadium. At the same time, races took place after he bought a 10-year option at Foxboro Raceway.

Kraft’s quest to acquire the stadium and the Patriots began when he benefited from the fact that the Sullivans owned the stadium but not the surrounding land. In 1988, Kraft outbid several rivals to purchase the stadium from Sullivan for $22 million outside bankruptcy court.

Despite being obsolete and almost worthless, the stadium was purchased along with the Patriots’ lease, which was good through 2001. Kraft considered moving the Patriots to Hartford, Connecticut, in 1998 after learning that the state of Connecticut would pay for a new stadium.

Still, he called off the agreement just before it was finalized to build a new stadium in Foxboro with infrastructure money from Massachusetts. The Patriots’ $360 million stadium, originally known as CMGI Field but later renamed Gillette Stadium, was financed by Kraft in 2002.  

Kraft started transforming the area around Gillette Stadium in 2007 by building Patriot Place, an outdoor shopping and entertainment complex worth $375 million.
