Kendahl Voelker is an Assets Manager who competed in the first professional Pillow Fighting Championship (PFC) held in Miami, Florida.
The PFC was held in January, and it was surprising to see a fun game for the bedroom hit the boxing ring. Similar to boxing, but instead of boxing gloves, specially designed pillows were used to target the opponent.
Because this was the first event of its kind, only 8 women and 16 men competed for the $5,000 cash prize and a belt. To attack their opponents, the participants used whatever experience they had with mixed martial arts and their very own pillow.
At the end of the championship, Kendahl Voelker lost to Istela Nunes after making it to the finals.

Kendahl Voelker has been working as an asset manager of wireless broadcasting and telecommunication infrastructure for the past six years at Vertical Bridge.
However, she received tremendous attention after appearing at the Pillow Fighting Championships which took place on January 29.
Starting October 2019, she was a cast member on the 90 Day Fiance Series “Just Landed” for three months. There her reaction was filmed as her fiance arrived from overseas within 24 hours.
She has gotten divorced since then after it didn’t work out. The series was released on December 17, 2019.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia after she majored in Sociology in 2011. She went on to study pre-nursing at Florida Gulf Coast University in 2011.
Later, she earned her MBA in 2018 from Florida Atlantic University. She has worked as a Law assistant as well as a teaching assistant in her professional career.
The event featured 16 men and eight women with their specialised pillows in place of boxing gloves.
