The Quintana Roo state prosecutor’s office reported on Tuesday that both were discovered deceased at a hotel or condominium in Playa del Carmen.
Additionally, the prosecution confirmed that the male victim was wanted by Interpol on suspicion of fraud. A third person was reported injured.

Additionally, the prosecution confirmed that the male victim was wanted by Interpol on suspicion of fraud. There were claims of an additional victim.
A spokesman for Global Affairs Canada told CTVNews.ca that the agency is aware of the deaths of two Canadian citizens in Mexico. In addition to being in touch with the local authorities to acquire more information, the consular staff is prepared to offer families consular aid.

Raphael Huppe And Fannie Lorrain Family Tribute
According to the Quintana Roo State Prosecutor’s Office, Raphael Huppe and Fannie Lorrain were both found deceased at a Playa del Carmen apartment or hotel. Their loved ones are paying respect to them in any way that they can.

Global Affairs Canada is aware that two Canadian individuals have died in Mexico, stated a spokeswoman for Global Affairs Canada. CTVNews.ca released a comment.
Additionally, there are a number of regional warnings for places where the Canadian government advises against non-essential travel. Quintana Roo, the state where the two Canadians were discovered dead on Tuesday, is not mentioned in the regional advisory.

Recent Incident Of Gun Violence In Mexico And Canadian Citizen Involvement
Following the murders of two Canadian men at a resort close to Playa del Carmen, which prosecutors said at the time looked to be motivated by unpaid debts between gangs engaged in the international drug and weapon trafficking, two more Canadian men have died.
In what has been called a gangland-style killing, Playa del Carmen police discovered the bodies of four men dumped beside a housing complex, in shrubbery along an access road, in March.
Two accused drug sellers were killed in a gunfight in November by about 15 armed men who landed on a beach in Puerto Morelos, a resort town south of Cancun, as part of a gang war over control of the drug trade.
