Raymond van Barneveld Wife Silvia Walraven Lost Her New Boyfriend Piet To Hemorrhage

Raymond van Barneveld and his wife, Silvia Walraven, divorced in March 2019.

Almost two years after the divorce, his wife, Silvia started dating Piet on February 12, 2020. However, she lost her lover to a brain hemorrhage on February 28, 2021. They had only celebrated their first anniversary and never got to experience a lifetime of love.

After his passing, Silvia posted an emotional outcry on her Facebook wall. 

“My buddy, my soul mate. Losing you to a brain hemorrhage suddenly out of the blue. How can this be?! Why… Why… How I’m going to miss you so much! My heart is crying, I’m broken baby! 12-02-20 is our date. I will never forget you!”

Piet would have turned 60 on the 25th of September 2022 had he been alive and healthy. But God had different plans for him, so he left at 58 years old. Walraven is a strong woman who has gone through a lot and still chooses to live with a smile, never giving up. 

To commemorate their love, Piet and Silvia had gotten matching tattoos of a rose on their thumb. On his 60th birthday, she uploaded a photo of them holding hands, with the caption, “Today you would have turned 60 ? have a big party up there.”

Similarly, Raymond has a 37-year-old fiancee named Julia Evans. They began dating in April 2019 and got engaged in February 2022 after the darts player proposed to his girlfriend in Paris.

Raymond and Silvia welcomed their first child Mike in 1989. After three years, in 1992, they got blessed with their second child, their first daughter, Daisy; she turned 30 on the 10th of November, 2022.

They had their youngest daughter Patty in 1994. The siblings have been best friends from day one and still have each other’s back in every situation.

Although the couple has moved on with their new partners, they haven’t given up on their children and still hang out with them, but separately. Both Barneveld and Walraven have posted pictures with their son and daughters on their social media handles, @raybar180 and @silviawalraven.

Raymond And Silvia Have Adorable Grandchildren 

Raymond and Silvia’s children have blessed them with adorable grandchildren, and the little ones spend quality time with their grandparents.

Patty has two children, Mason and Nikki. Daisy has a son named Róan, and Mike has two kids, Lotte and Noah. Their beloved mother has many posts of the little ones on her social media.

Furthermore, the darts player has also shared his moments with his grandkids on his Instagram; they watched European Championship football together in 2021 while supporting the Netherlands.

Silvia Walraven never misses wishing the babies a happy birthday through her Facebook. Per her posts, Nikki turned five on the 15th of November 2022, and Róan turned three on the 12th of November 2022. Lotte turned two on the 10th of June, 2022, and Noah turned one on the 22nd of September, 2022.

Raymond Van Barneveld and Silvia Walraven were married for 25 years before deciding to go on separate paths.

Their relationship went downhill as Barneveld spent most of his time away from home at tournaments.

Raymond’s wife Walraven got robbed at gunpoint in The Hague, Netherlands, in the summer of 2018. Raymond was competing in Scotland then.

The event left her with a scar, and she had panic attacks and sleepless nights. Silvia even got scared to the point where she was frightened to live alone in the house, so she wanted to live separately in an apartment. Her mental scar and paranoia put a strain on their relationship.
