Gina Lavatai joined as a senior manager at Green Dot Corporation in January 2022.
Before joining the bank holding company, she was a project manager and core system administrator at Florida Capital Bank. Likewise, the senior manager has worked at First Atlantic Bank for almost 12 years (April 2007 to August 2018) and at Community Bank of Florida for 17 years (April 1990 to March 2007).

Tai has a sibling named Toa Lavatia, who also pursued athletics during college.
Toa attended Valdosta State University and graduated in 2020 with a degree in Business Management. Likewise, he did his schooling at Creekside High School (Florida).
Furthermore, he was a football team member and played in Valdosta State’s 2018 Division II national championship as an offensive lineman.
As per his LinkedIn profile, the former footballer works as a territory sales representative at Revere Survival Inc. He also worked at Florida Capital Bank as a temporary assistant from June to September 2021. Moreover, the older Lavatai did part-time at Jimmy John’s and Wild Adventures Theme Park while pursuing his education.
