On Monday, after surveying the current landscapes, Tasha stated that she realized Charest and she wanted and believed in the same things. She said “We would just be battling each other and there is no point doing that. We should be united.”
Soon after Erin O’Toole was fired from her position last month, Tasha’s name circulated as a possible contender. The Quebec-born bilingual former lawyer has strong ties to the party’s left-wing and she was touted by several insiders as the new face needed to appeal to potential voters.
Well, Tasha took a leave of absence from her position at the strategy firm Navigator to consider a bid, and last Friday, in an interview, she told that she was still considering it.

The 52-year-old politician was born and raised in Montreal. She attended McGill University and earned a law degree. About her political debut, she began her career as a litigation lawyer working for Spiegel Sohmer in Montreal where she practised her law degree for three years.
