Blaming challenges in her personal situation, Joanna announced in one of her 2019 media appearances that she is no longer with Buta after two years of engagement.
According to several sources, the pair first met while studying at the University of Physical Education in Poland.

In her spectacular UFC 248 fight against Weili Zhang, Joanna Jedrzejczyk suffered a severe head injury.
Jedrzejczyk was taken to the hospital after the fight, but was reportedly released the next morning.

The injury to Jedrzejczyk occurred in the third round, when the famous Weili unleashed a barrage of strong shots that caused the former’s skull to swell abnormally.
That resulted in a hematoma, which is the outcome of a traumatic damage to your skin or the tissues beneath your skin and can be fatal depending on the severity of the case.
