Mia announced on her Instagram account that she would be joining the Channel 7 team as a commentator for the Winter Olympics this year.
She made this announcement the day after New year. She will be working alongside Luke Kneller, who is a producer. Although she would much rather compete in the Olympic game itself, she is stoked to have the next best thing in her grasp.
According to her, she feels lucky to watch her favorite humans compete from the comfort of the channel seven studios while recovering from knee surgery.

Mia Rennie is an Australian Freeskier who became the youngest female skier in Australia to compete at a Freeski World Cup when she qualified at just 16 years of age.
Mia, aka Miff, was only 14 when she competed in her first World Juniors. She has made a name for herself as a brilliant, talented, and fearless female skier on the world stage.
Her first world cup was at Calgary in 2019.
Her achievements at only 18 years old are a Youth Olympic Games Final, podiums in two World Cup Qualifying events in 2019, and 11 golds in a series of US, NZ, and European stages.
Mia went into the Youth Olympics Games in 2020, and despite suffering a broken collar bone, a broken nose, and a torn ACL, she made finals against the best young skiers on the planet.
She is currently in recovery after tearing her ACL.
