Jerick Ternida passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2002. A possible heart attack caused his death. He was living a sound and healthy life and was serving as a mentor for many.
His family members announced the news of Ternida’s demise on Facebook.
His cousin Frederick Padilla Sagusay published a lengthy post saying, “TERNIDA’ S Pride No More.”
He continued: “We wish you farewell in your journey to eternity. You’d never be forgotten; rest in peace, Kuya Jerick Ternida”

Jerick Ternida was born on October 27, 1971. He was a renowned bodybuilder and fitness coach and a former eight times winner of Mr. Philippines. Ternida was called the Pinoy Arnold Schwarzenegger for his big physique.

Ternida has won many championships at the national and international levels. He was a Musclemania Universe Middleweight & Over-All Champion. He won the middleweight division and overall champion of muscle mania in 2008 on June 21 in MIAMI, Florida.
Similarly, the bodybuilder was twice the NPC National champion, three times Musclemania World Division Champion, and had been twice honored with the PSA Award.
