Myriam Bedard was born in the year 1969 in Loretteville, Canada. The biathlon player was involved with Courcelette Quebec during her sports career. The possessor of three Olympic titles and two World championships is a member of the Royal Military College Of Canada.

The marksmanship champion began her games when she was 15 years old. Her first noticeable title was Canadian Junior Champion which happened in the year 1987. 

The lady to hold Canada’s flag in the closure of the 1994 Winter Olympics held in Norway, received Lou Marsh Trophy and Velma Springhead Trophy for being the best overall and as a female in the same year.

The hyperthyroidism diagnosis of 1997 made her leave the life-changing game of biathlon and switch to long-track speed skating.
