Moreover, Quiros was only 22 years old when she was engaged to Yordan. Her partner, who began his professional baseball career at age 17 in 2014, was playing for his current team, The Houston Astros. He joined the team in 2019.

With a positive test for COVID-19, Alvarez missed the start of the 2020 season. He came back in August but could only play two games before he was put out for the remainder of the season after having arthroscopic surgery on both knees.
