Alex Carey Parents Gordon Carey And Andrea Carey
Alex Carey parents Gordon Carey and Andrea Carey supported him throughout his athletic career.
Gordon and Andrea are parents to three kids, which include Alex's older brother Adam and his older sister Ashleigh Carey. In an interview with Cricket Australia, Alex described himself as a good kid who didn't give much trouble at home. So it must have been easy for Gordon and Andrea to raise Alex.
Gordon Carey, the father of Alex Carey, had his chemotherapy sessions going on when his son was called up for his debut against England in 2021. In an interview with 7News, Gordon said he wished he could have been there to watch his son's big moment live.

But with his ongoing battle with leukemia, Gordon hoped he could at least be there for the second test match at Adelaide. A multi-sport athlete, Alex played Australian rules football before switching to cricket.
Alex has always been a momma's boy. When he and Adam would play cricket in the backyard and Alex would be dismissed, he would run inside their house to ask his mother if he could go again. Andrea would step in and tell Adam to give his younger brother two more chances and help Alex continue playing the game.

The cricketer casually posts photos of his mom and dad on his Instagram handle, with the latest one being on New Year's Day in 2022. On November 26, 2022, Alex's sister, Ashleigh, shared a photo of Gordon on his birthday.
She wrote she was grateful that her kids could spend another birthday with him as his battle with leukemia continues.
