On the first tee, he searched all around for it, the two pockets and his bag for golf but came away with nothing. He said, “I thought it was in my pocket because I put it in my pocket when I was warming up.”

Carr will face Texas A&M senior Sam Bennett in the championship final on August 21. The winners on Sunday also receive invitations to participate in the British Open. Moreover, both received a summons to compete in the Masters and the U.S. Open at Los Angeles Country Club the following year.
