Carli Lloyd Married Pro Golfer Husband Brian Hollins After 16 Years Of Dating

Carli Lloyd’s husband is her childhood sweetheart Brian Hollins. They celebrated their 6th anniversary on the 4th of November, 2022.

Her husband, Hollins, is a pro golfer and serves as an assistant golf professional at Trenton Country Club. He previously worked as a teaching and assistant professional at the Laurel Creek Country Club and Willow Brook Country Club.

He has kept himself away from social media and internet life and remained very focused and professional.

The athlete was allowed to play during the 2015 U.S. Open, but his effort to qualify for the PGA Tour came short. Even so, he played stints on the Tarheel and Hooters Tours.

Carli became Mrs. Hollins when she decided on forever with her significant other but used her maiden name for her business identity.

Since she had already built a well-known brand as one of the world’s top soccer players, she didn’t change the name on the back of her jersey throughout her career.

However, after five years of getting married, Lloyd decided to retire from the national team in 2021. Following her retirement, the former soccer player partnered with Teqball USA in early 2022; making Teqball an Olympic sport by 2028 is one of her retirement plans.

Despite marrying one of the most accomplished soccer players, Brian has chosen not to keep himself updated on social networking sites; however, he hasn’t limited Carli to sharing their beautiful moments on her Instagram.

The retired soccer player, active on Instagram under @carlilloyd, has made 1.5k posts of her lifestyle, and many of those attachments include the couple’s journey from dating to married life.

Carli Lloyd and Brian Hollins have been in a relationship for 22 years.

They dated for 16 years before they decided to spend eternity together. They had been in a relationship since 2000.

The couple spent more than one and half decades knowing one another and stood by each other’s side through every high and low; they had good and bad times but never gave up on each other.

According to Carli’s husband, she is the most competitive person he knows.

“You know, it’s fun, we get to banter,” Carli said. “We get to be outside the relationship lovey-dove type of thing and go battle.”

Lloyd and Hollins know that love isn’t always perfect, and it is nothing like a storybook and fairytale ending; it doesn’t come easy. They have overcome many obstacles to reach where they have arrived today. 

Furthermore, their mutual effort to stick by each other’s side has helped them grow closer and stronger. Their love has only blossomed over the years; despite being together for over two decades, they are still head over heels for one another.

Carli Lloyd and Brian Hollins got engaged in 2013 and had their wedding in 2016.

Brian got down on his knees and proposed to his partner of 15 years in January 2013. He surprised his lover with a cushion-cut engagement ring set on a triple-shank diamond band.

Later the power couple exchanged wedding vows on the 4th of November, 2016, in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, in front of 75 people who were closest friends and family members. 

They had a beautiful destination wedding ceremony after the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil. The soccer player looked stunning in a strapless gown, and the golfer flaunted a light bluish suit.
