Dalvin Brown Shooting At Canyon Springs High School ‘Accused Guilty or Innocent’ Case

Dalvin Brown, an 18-year-old teenager, was shot and killed at Canyon High School in 2018, and fans are keen to know if the accused suspect of the killing was guilty or innocent.

On September 11, 2018, police were sent to the school at 350 E. Alexander Road in response to initial allegations of an active shooter. They discovered Dalvin Brown, an 18-year-old Canyon Springs student, who was seriously injured.

According to authorities, Brown was shot at the baseball grounds’ outside boundaries and later passed away at University Medical Center. Officials had stated that it was not thought that the shooting was random and that it was the result of some sort of altercation.

Lockdown was imposed on the school for the benefit of the remaining pupils and staff after classes were out for the day.

On the afternoon of September 11, 2018, three kids, including Dalvin Brown, “jumped” another student, according to North Las Vegas police spokesman Eric Leavitt on Wednesday.

According to an arrest affidavit, the altercation was organized, and a third individual attempted to break it up. A 16-year-old was charged with shooting Brown, who died at University Medical Center, in an affidavit and criminal complaint.

According to the affidavit, the altercation started on Sept. 11 around 2:35 pm close to the baseball fields on the west side of the campus. After a scuffle, according to police, Dalvin Brown, the high school junior, was shot and killed close to the school’s baseball field.

Was The Accused Suspect Guilty or Innocent?

The North Las Vegas police arrested Sakai Kayin French who was charged as an adult with murder in the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old Dalvin Brown during an after-school fight at a rival school. Sakai’s bond was set at $1 million, court records show.

French, a junior at North Las Vegas’ Cheyenne High School, was not asked to enter a plea. Alexis Plunkett, his attorney, declined to comment. According to the officials, other students gathered for the brawl and saw the gunshot.

French, who was identified as an adult by the authorities, was detained at the Clark County Detention Center on suspicion of murder and for having a dangerous weapon on campus, according to the police.
