Was Danielle Graham Fired From CTV? Alleged Gender Discrimination Claiming To Organization & ETalk Host Departure

Danielle Graham, a Canadian entertainment reporter, is best known for working on CTV’s talk. She usually appeared alongside Tyrone Edwards, Lainey Lui, or Traci Melchor.

As a host, she has interviewed notable celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hanks, Katie Holmes, and many more. Moreover, she has covered numerous film festivals, premieres, and awards show.

Graham, as a Bell Media correspondent, worked for more than 15 years. She announced she was leaving the channel in March 2022. How come she left, though?

Was Danielle Graham Fired From CTV? 

Danielle Graham announced on March 1, 2022, that she is leaving CTV. Her departure was very sudden and surprising. She had tweeted a long goodbye to her colleagues. Graham wrote;

‘The time has come to say goodbye. 15 years beyond my wildest dreams. I gave everything I had to the show & in return, it gave me my whole world, Randall & our girls. I am so grateful for it all.’

‘Thank you for being with me on this great adventure. Onwards with nothing but love.’

Graham started her career in 2001, as an intern at CityTV Toronto. She spent four years hosting well-known programs like YTV’s The Hit List before switching to Star! Daily in 2005 as an entertainment correspondent.

In 2007, she officially joined Etalk and featured so many big celebrities. She continued covering movie and award events such as Toronto International Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and Teen Choice Awards on the channel.

Graham also traveled internationally for Etalk. She was one of the most famous faces on the channel. Her departure left so many of her fans, sad as they say, it is hard to imagine CTV without Graham.

In March 2022, Bell Media PR was asked about Graham, but the company denied to comment on her. Since then, fans suspected they did something wrong to Graham.

Danielle Graham Left CTV After Gender Discrimination

Danielle Graham has publically revealed the reason behind her departure from CTV. She cites discrimination led her to take the decision.

Graham tweeted about what happened to her on August 20, 2022. She wrote: ‘I have not yet spoken publicly about my dismissal from Bell Media, but in light of recent news, there have been a lot of questions surrounding my departure.’

In addition, she provided a rundown of what had happened before she left:

Graham said that on March 1, 2022, she was ignored and laughed at after telling management about a situation where she was being discriminated against as a woman. After four days, she described the discrimination to HR, who promised her investigation.

On March 8, a meeting was set up for March 11. However, a day before the meeting, Graham was rescheduled to be in the office for a shoot. She was then told to leave the company as a business decision. 

Graham said: ‘I was not allowed to say goodbye on air or to contribute to the messaging surrounding my departure, despite several requests for my representative to do so.’

Danielle Graham married her husband Randall Graham in 2014. She shares two daughters with her husband.

Graham’s first daughter, Beatrix Barbara Graham, was born on July 1, 2016. Her second child, Marigold James Graham, arrived on January 5, 2020.
