Who Is @_erikamdiaz? Erika Diaz Went Viral Over Scrubs Comments

The power of social media in today’s world cannot be denied, especially when all sources of our entertainment and information come from it.

Social media platforms are being used by everyone to share their world with others. One such platform is TikTok, which has gained an extreme amount of popularity. It is also the place where we get acquainted with all sorts of trends. Although TikTok is a place that lets you share your talents with the world, it does come with its own shortcomings. What, you may ask? The people who are sitting behind their screens waiting to watch your every move and then pass their expert judgments.

One TikToker had to face these faces behind the screen when she decided to post videos of her in her medical uniform.

Who Is Erika Diaz?

Erika Diaz is a TikToker whose TikTok handle is @_erikamdiaz and she is currently under a lot of scrutinies on the platform.

Erika is a 22-year-old nurse who is quite regular in posting videos about her daily life and interests on the platform. Diaz is a hardworking woman who works two jobs and also does volunteering work. She also goes to school, which means that she has a lot on her plate.

However, Diaz manages to keep everything under control because of her solid morning schedule, as she mentions in her TikTok video. She also manages to include her gym time in her busy schedule. Erika really prioritizes her health and fitness; she can be seen posting several videos about her time at the gym and her fitness.

What is the deal about Erika Diaz’s TikTok and Why is it Blowing Up?

Erika Diaz (@_merikadiaz) works as a nurse, which means that she needs to wear her scrubs to work and it is precisely that which made her go viral.

Her work outfit is exactly what sparked all the trolling and talks on TikTok. In several of her videos, Diaz can be seen donning her body-hugging scrub. In these videos, trollers have commented regarding her outfit as well as her body. The scrub defines her curves, but it seems that some people cannot accept that. Diaz, however, says that she isn’t trying to look impressive.

After receiving internet trolling for her “inappropriate” hip-hugging scrubs, Erika claims she can’t get a break even on the internet. She gets back to all those who commented inappropriately on her video with yet another video. Diaz responds to those who say the outfit is “inappropriate” for the workplace in the video, which has received 12.7 million views. Her figure is shown in the video to be distinct in ratio from the women in the photographs, who were models for the scrubs’ advertisement online.

The caption in the video said, “Some people just have an issue with my body not my scrubs and it shows.”

She also wrote a follow-up comment in the video in which she says, “Just for clarification, I am 5’2″ and 107 lbs I’m short and little, y’all can say my body is fake all y’all want it’s not, ask my back problems”. She further added, “I literally work 2 jobs, volunteer and I am still studying I’m devoting my life to the improvement of others and anyone’s opinions are irrelevant”.

Some of the nastiest comments that Erika received on her video read as follows:

“You simply can buy a 1 bigger size to give you space for breath,”, wrote one of the trollers.

Another one seemed quite absolute that had it been in his powers, he would never allow such dressing. He wrote, “I’m an old school director. I’d never allow that on my floor — I don’t want to see nails perfume or style — keep that at home where it belongs”.
