Born on November 16, 1997, the Vancouver native, Lenasia is soon turning 25.
The young couple seems to have started dating in 2017—it was the time when Ethan was first seen on Lenasia’s Instagram handle. And after dating for four years, the lovebirds decided it was time to take the relationship to the next level.
On October 5, 2021, Lenasia took to Instagram to announce her engagement with the new defenseman of the Vancouver Canucks. In another post, the sales associate also flaunted her beautiful engagement ring with Ethan holding her hand.

The soon-to-be wife of Ethan Bear is a constant supporter of the ice hockey player who is now going to take up the role of father as well.
Ethan Bear’s partner took to her social media that a cub was soon arriving on February 2023. The couple is also planning to get married next year in July.

And there’s no doubt that Ethan and Lenasia are ready to become parents as the two are no less of a parent to their canines Bronco and Flower, who are frequently seen on their social media handles.
The young pups have a separate Instagram handle with the username @bronco_flower_dachs. The family of four, soon to be five, has taken several trips together, with their latest one being to Takkakkaw Falls on July 26.
And in May 2021, after Ethan was subject to racist comments, Lenasia took to her Facebook to address the situation. She wrote, “Ethan has received numerous racist messages and comments. To hide behind a screen is cowardly.”
She continued, “But to use stereotypes against him as an Indigenous person is dehumanizing and awful. We will not be silenced. It is 2021 we are all equal and this needs to stop.”
And with strong support from his soon-to-be wife and many hockey fans, Ethan responded with a video, where he said he addressed his side’s loss and talked about the hate comments and said, “I’m here to stand up to this behavior, to these comments. I’m proud of where I come from.”
Ethan Bear Parents – Meet Lloyd Bear And Geraldine Bear
Ethan Bear was born to parents Lloyd Bear and Geraldine Bear in 1997. Born and raised in the Ochapwace nation, Ethan grew up alongside his older brother Everett.
Hockey was in Ethan’s blood, with his grandparents being hockey players, as well as his brother, Everett, who played junior in Manitoba. Being a first nation kid, Ethan’s father, Lloyd Bear, was emotional when Ethan made his debut for the Oilers.
In an interview with CBC, Lloyd said, “For me, it was just very hard to believe. Very emotional.” Lloyd coached Ethan and his older brother, Everett, and was the key reason for Ethan being the player he is today.
And along with her husband, Geraldine was also present in the stadium when Ethan made his debut against Nashville Predators. Geraldine said, “We’re proud of the fact that he can influence the youth and share his knowledge and his experience.”
Many kids in Saskatchewan, where Ethan was raised, look up to him, and the young player knows that he is not only achieving his dream but also showing an entire generation of First Nation kids that with hard work, everything is achievable.
