He claims that the medication he was taking to treat his bipolar disorder was to blame for the rapid deterioration of the condition of his receding hair.

He experimented with entirely shaving his head bald. Still, around this time, he also underwent a phase of rapid weight gain that he now considers one of the most challenging periods of his life. To alter his public persona, he underwent a hair transplant with a specialist in Los Angeles. According to him, the outcome was a total disaster.

Consequently, he ended up with ingrown hairs all over his head. Therefore, in addition to having thinning hair and being overweight, he now had ingrown hairs everywhere.

In 2019, Fousey made his professional boxing debut against fellow content producer Slim Albaher. Still, he was knocked out in round four of a scheduled six-round bout.
