Who Is Maxwell Frost From Florida? Gen Z Candidate Wins CD10 Democratic Primary

Maxwell Frost is one of the first members of Generation Z to run for Congress. Frost won the Democratic primary for Florida’s 10th Congressional District on Tuesday evening, nearly guaranteeing that he will become the first member of Generation Z to serve in Congress.

Frost’s victory almost assures him a seat in Congress because the Orlando-area district is thought to be strongly Democratic.

In November, Frost will compete against Republican Calvin Wimbish. Frost almost meets the age limit to serve in the US House of Representatives at 25.

Members of Generation Z can run for congressional office for the first time in the 2022 midterm elections.

Frost ran for office on a platform that included a Green New Deal, Medicare for All, the cancellation of student loans, and an end to gun violence.

In 2012, after the terrible massacre in Newtown, Connecticut, he first got active in political activism while still a high school student. Additionally, he has publicly shared his experience of escaping a different gun violence situation.

Frost outperformed his rivals in terms of money and won significant national support from prominent progressive figures like Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.

The organization maintains extensive operations focusing on the aerospace and management education systems. For almost two years, Maxwell oversaw the production of March For Our Lives.
