Could Hand Dryer Have A Blade? TikTok Video Creates A Panic

Some TikTok users claimed that seeing a popular video of a blade coming from a hand dryer unlocked their deepest fears.

Some people do experience manussiccusphobia, or the fear of hand dryers, but since a funny video went viral, people have been finding new reasons to be afraid of them.

On TikTok, a video showing a hand dryer with a blade is trending. In a filthy, graffiti-ridden washroom, the hand dryer with the video is covered in blood.  The drying system suddenly releases a sizable blade, which retracts gradually after being extended.

Could Hand Dryer Have A Blade?

Dryers with hands-in blades are activated by lowering the hands into the dryer cavity. The dryer will blow the hands with a strong jet of air as they move slowly up and down. In 12 seconds or less, all traces of moisture are eliminated.

Dryers with hands-under blades are used in the exact same way as conventional dryers. People receive a turbo burst of air rather than having to wait forever for their hands to dry.

This rapidly evaporates the water from their hands. Purchasing a blade hand dryer with a built-in high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter is one of the easiest ways to reduce the number of bacteria on users’ hands.

Before being used to dry hands, the HEPA filter removes over 99 percent of hazardous particles from the air. This is a very efficient method for enhancing hand hygiene in public areas or workplaces.

Hand dryer sales have been completely transformed by blade dryers. A hand drier with blade technology is relatively simple to use, despite its unfriendly sound.

The video has received more than 12.9 million views, 1.8 million likes, and 41,000 comments since it was posted. Many TikTok users have said that the video has caused them to develop a brand-new fear of using hand dryers.

Despite the fact that it is an animation, there are more than 40,000 comments on it, some of which indicate that people are now afraid to use hand dryers.

People use hand dryers without blades every day in an effort to hurt them. The fear of hand dryers is reportedly a recognized phobia known as manussiccusphobia, though.

Some individuals have even uploaded videos of themselves walking up to hand dryers in public restrooms but remain scared to use them.

Others, however, have “debunked” the animation by demonstrating there is nothing to be frightened of.
