Charlie Dimmock, Britain’s most popular gardener and television host, have gained significant weight in recent years.

The gardener was a team member on Ground Force, a BBC gardening makeover program airing from 1997 to 2005.

Dimmock has presented as a television host in many TV shows in the US and UK, including The Joy of Gardening, Charlie’s Garden Army, and Garden Rescue.

In Garden Rescue, Dimmock competes against Lee Burkhill and others to design a garden for some house owners.

When Charlie Dimmock arrived at the Golden Rescue, She was completely unrecognizable. She had gained a lot of weight which made all shocked.

The gardener was off-screen for a long time after leaving Ground Force, so critical viewers quickly noticed the difference in her weight.

According to the source, Charlie’s weight in 2022 is 165lbs, but gardening has kept her fit and powerful, even though she is out of shape.

The gardener has been active in numerous charitable endeavors and has succeeded in raising more than £100,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The 55-year-old gardener is a very healthy woman with a beautiful figure despite having gained a few pounds on her body in these few years.

Dimmock admitted she’s “always been up and down” when it comes to her size. She has said life’s too short to worry about her weight.

On August 10, 1966, Charlie Dimmock was born in West Wellow, Hampshire, England. She is a single child of her father, Terry, a merchant seaman, and Sue Kennedy, who runs her clothes shop.

The garden’s mother, Sue Kennedy, at the age of 59, and her stepfather Rob at the age of 58, died in the 2004 tsunami while holidaying in Thailand caused by an Indian Ocean earthquake.

During the early eighties, while traveling to New Zealand, Dimmock met viticulturist John Mushet, with whom she settled upon returning home. Though John referred to her as his wife during the relationship, they eventually didn’t ever get married.

After that, Dimmock had a short relationship with Ground Force microphone operator Andy Simmons. Her time with Andy was for a short period of time only as Dimmock went on to date another program’s crew, sound technician Barry Smith.

During an interview with Daily Mail shortly after news about the relationship with John Smith went public, Dimmock revealed she broke up with him, but they talked to each other a few times. 

In 2014, the gardener revealed she was single and has been single since then. Also, in 2014, she told the Daily Mail that she felt ‘too old’ to get married now.

The gardener told Daily Mail, ” I’m too old now, certainly, too old for marriage, there’s no point. I do think I’m too old now. I can’t see anything happening when it comes to romance; somebody would have to bowl me over. I am quite content without a man in my life.”
