1. Dranchenlord’s Real Name

Drachenlord’s true name is Rainer Winkler.

He is a German YouTuber and streamer of video games, in addition to being a fan of heavy metal. Online, Drachenlord has been seen not just with amusement but also with ridicule because he has been the target of various trolling efforts.

People have criticized him for his content, which often contains personal details about himself, like his home location. His channel has reportedly been banned several times for allegedly broadcasting inappropriate sexual material. He has been called “Germany’s Most Hated YouTuber.” 

2. Dranchenlord Was Harrassed When He Revealed His Home Address

A text-to-speech message containing a threat was delivered to Winkler’s sister in 2014 by an internet troll who wished to remain anonymous.

In response, Winkler answered on February 5, 2014, by issuing a challenge to the person who had sent him the message and providing the sender with his address.

Winkler first published his YouTube channel under the name “DrachenLord1510” on August 10, 2011.

The following year, on July 1, 2012, Winkler released his very first video, which was a tribute to his late father Rudi and was published on YouTube. After some time, the video was removed from the website.

After those two days, Winkler posted a video announcing the creation of his first Let’s Play channel on YouTube. On September 13, 2013, Drachen Lord launched a new online community and provided a video introduction to the platform.

Winkler was the topic of a video uploaded to YouTube on June 15, 2018, by the user Count Dankula. The video has more than 1.3 million views in less than two years after it was uploaded.

Count Dankula followed up his video for Drachenlord with a new one the year after it was initially published. Over 580,000 people saw the video in less than three months after it was published.
