Calvin Kattar, a professional mixed martial artist, has a net worth of around $2 million which he earned by fighting opponents.

Kattar competes in the Featherweight division in the UFC. The fighter has been active since 2007, and out of 29 bouts he has fought to date, he has won 23 and lost six with no draws. 

Calvin also owns the New England-based regional promotion Combat Zone MMA and serves as its head promoter; before owing it, he competed for the promotion six times by putting his fighting career on hold for three years.

Kattar was born to his beloved parents, Jamie Kattar and Sandra Kattar, in Methuen, Massachusetts, United States.

The elder Kattar runs an irrigation business; the fighter has followed his father’s footsteps, bought Combat Zone MMA, and focused on promoting. Likewise, Jamie’s brother Kevin owns Merrimack Golf Club.

His parents have always been supportive and never let his dream die, although his dad was not sure about his decision at first. So, he asked the fighter to tap him out, and only then could he compete professionally.

They scraped in their front yard, and when the homeowner arrived after a few minutes, Calvin already had his father in a choke hole; ever since, he has won most of his fights in the ring and lost to very few.

Calvin is not the only child born to Jamie and Sandra; he has three brothers and a sister, namely Kylee Reynolds, Jamison Kattar, Keegan Kattar, and Tanner Kattar.

Keegan is a professional horticulturist at a cannabis farm, per his Instagram bio, @keegankattar. Likewise, Jamison is a firefighter and MMA promoter; he works with the fighter as a right-hand man and serves as Combat Zone MMA’s administrator.

Furthermore, Tanner is the youngest one, and he has maintained a private account on social media under @tanner_kattar. Moreover, Kylee is a baby momma; she gave birth to her son Reynolds in May 2022.

Kattar began wrestling in high school and was a standout wrestler at Methuen High School; however, he pursued mixed martial art in his collegiate career.

The fighter, who graduated with an associate degree from Middlesex Community College, got hocked to MMA after watching his sister’s best friend fight.

Calvin had eight consecutive wins and was unbeaten in over seven years while competing on the regional circuit, primarily in his native New England, before his UFC career.

Later on the 29th of July 2017, he made his UFC debut against Andre Fili at UFC 214 and won the fight unanimously. Throughout his UFC career, the athlete has won seven matches and lost four. Moreover, he has an upcoming confirmed bout against Arnold Allen on the 29th of October at 04:00 PM ET.
