Billy Slater is 38 years old as he was born in Nambour, Queensland, Australia, on 18th June 1983. Weighing 89 kg, he stands at the height of 1.78 m. 

Billy went to Innisfail State High School but dropped out at the age of 16 to pursue his passion for thoroughbred racing.

The Queensland winger first arrived in Sydney as a trackwork rider for renowned horse trainer Gai Waterhouse before returning to his first sport, rugby league. Slater drove to Melbourne in hopes of a Storm tryout and appeared in every game during the 2003 season.

Slater made his representative debut in 2004 when he was named to Queensland’s State of Origin roster.
