In the Netflix reality series Car Masters: Rust to Riches, Mark Towle and his incredible team of auto professionals work on various car restorations and modifications before selling the finished products for a profit. It has recently become one of the most popular car tv shows.

Despite its devoted following and the crew’s amazing improvements, the Gotham Garage has a history of sinister events, according to some behind-the-scenes information.

Fans regularly question the cast members’ abilities and wonder how much of the events portrayed on the program are real and how much are fiction. Let’s find out the hidden truth behind all this.

Is Gotham Garage Real Or Fake? Who Owns It?

Netflix launched an American reality television show in 2018 called Car Masters: Rust to Riches. The concept centers on the Gotham Garage team, who have created several props for film studios and television programs over the years. However, the lack of emphasis on the repair and modification process in the program has led some viewers to wonder if the reality series is real or fake.

Even though “Car Masters: Rust To Riches” has only just begun airing, it is indisputable that the rise of internet streaming services and the already well-known general interest in shows focusing on car restoration have contributed to the series’ global success.

Mark Towle and his team, including Tony Quinones and Michael Pyle, often concentrate on repairing old cars that are rusty and bent out of shape. The cars now seem to be better than the originals, and the restoration team appears to have saved the day.

Car Masters: Rust to Riches, The Netflix Show Casts Net Worth

Mark Towle, the proprietor of Gotham Garage, is the show’s spotlight. Beyond what anybody would anticipate, he is capable of building and restoring automobiles, thanks to his abilities and positive outlook. His net worth is expected to be around $1 million.

Additionally, Mark Towle has appeared on various television programs. Car Masters is not Mark’s first competition. Some of the show’s audience members have questioned whether Mark is merely on the show for fame and notoriety or for his automotive expertise due to his appearances on America’s Most Wanted and The Today Show.

Before Car Masters, Mark was best known for building tailored automobiles that were accurate reproductions of cars from renowned movies, with his Batmobile replicas being the most prominent of them. Sadly, his imitations were so precise that he finally faced legal action for copyright and trademark violation from Warner Bros.

On the other hand, due to his upbeat demeanor and sense of humor, Gotham Garage member Michael Pyle, aka Caveman, has developed a sizable fan base. In 2019, he established Club Caveman, a clothing brand using his likeness. The company’s website only sells a black T-shirt with a picture of Mike.

Gotham Garage Designed Batmobile, The Warner Bros. Lawsuit

The Batmobile is a fictional character owned by DC Comics. Gotham Garage’s decision to construct their own Batmobile, or more accurately, a copy of the 1989 mode, did not land well with the executives at Warner Bros.

As soon as Warner Bros. discovered that Towle had made the Batmobile in violation of copyright laws, they presented him with a legal notice.

The court was unimpressed with Towle’s attempt to convince them, and Warner Bros. won the lawsuit. Despite one episode focusing on the Batmobile, none of this was mentioned in the program.
