James and Janet Auchincloss are the offspring of Hugh D. Auchincloss and Janet Lee Bouvier. This suggests that Jackie Kennedy had half-siblings in the Auchincloss family but that the Kennedy family as a whole is unrelated to them.

Jake’s father is a physician-scientist and immunologist. Hugh Auchincloss Sr., Jake’s grandfather, is the first cousin once removed of stockbroker Hugh Auchincloss, who married Janet Bouvier. Jake Auchincloss and Jackie O have a tangential relationship as a result of this.

The congressman not only has a tie to the Auchincloss family but also to other historical figures. Harvey Bundy, one of the Marshall Plan’s architects, is his great-grandfather.

Jake Auchincloss is the son of Laurie Glimcher, and Hugh Auchincloss Jr. Jake’s parents divorced after Jake and his two siblings were born.

Hugh Auchincloss Jr. is an immunologist and physician from the United States. Since 2006, Jake has held the position of principal deputy director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Hugh Auchincloss Sr. (1915–1998) and Katherine Lawrence Bundt are Jake’s parents. Hugh Auchincloss Sr. worked as a surgeon, whereas Katherine’s family was made up of bankers and attorneys (she was the granddaughter of William Lowell Putnam).

Jackie Kennedy was born to John Vernou Bouvier III and Janet Lee Bouvier. Kennedy’s parents’ marriage, on the other hand, ended in a public divorce.

Jackie’s mother remarried Hugh Dudley Auchincloss Jr, a well-known stockbroker, and lawyer, shortly after. From his three marriages, he has had five children. Hugh Dudley Auchincloss III, Jackie’s stepbrother, was one of his offspring.

Hugh Auchincloss is now Jake Auchincloss’ father’s name. Jake’s parents are both doctors: his mother is the President and CEO of Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and his father is the Deputy Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases under Anthony Fauci (NIAID).

Auchincloss’ grandfather Melvin J. Glimcher, who was inducted into the National Academy of Sciences and is the first cousin once removed of stockbroker Hugh D.

Auchincloss pioneered the construction of prosthetic limbs. Gregory Petsko, his stepfather, is a biochemist and biotech entrepreneur who has become a global Alzheimer’s disease expert. Auchincloss is of Jewish ancestry and was raised in his mother’s faith.
