Why is Jon Batiste Leaving The Late Show?

Jon has decided not to continue his journey at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he served as the bandleader and musical director for the past seven years, to pursue other creative projects.

The singer has no bitter feelings toward the late-night family, nor did he have a bad experience. Instead, he must have enjoyed every moment during his time at the show and made beautiful memories with his bandmates.

However, Batiste waved goodbye to the viewers to chase personal and professional interests and make better achievements. The Academy Award and Grammy winner serves as the music director of The Atlantic; thus, he must have something up his sleeves that he has to offer to his admirers and well-wishers in the upcoming days, which we can’t wait to witness.
