Justin Mcinerney Father John is the vice-principal of Our Lady of Sion College in Melbourne, and his mother, Lila, is the principal of Mercy College in the same city.

His parents have been highly supportive of his efforts. His entire family was ecstatic during her draft and screamed, hugged, and high-fived.

Justin was one of the Swans’ seven draft picks in November. In round four of the 2019 AFL season, he made his debut against Melbourne.

McInerney scored two goals, had 14 disposals, and took five marks in the game.

Justin Mcinerney is 21 years of age. He is originally from Banyule and attended Marcellin College before being drafted with the 44th pick in the 2018 AFL Draft by the Sydney Swans.

He has signed a four-year contract extension with the Sydney Swans that would keep him with the club until at least the end of 2026.

McInerney had a big year in 2021, earning his second AFL NAB Rising Star nomination and finished fourth in the AFL Rising Star.

McInerney also won the Club’s Dennis CarrollAward for Most Improved Player in 2021.
