Zak Hendrikz is a famous South African actor best known for playing the role of Werner Visagie in the long-running soap opera 7de Laan.

In his acting career extending over a decade, Zak has starred in multiple movies and TV shows, including Sterloopers, Donkerland, Actually Quite A Lot, An Act of Defiance, and so on.

Zak is also a farming entrepreneur; he has a successful donkey farm named The Donkey Dairy.

As of now, there has been no official news of actor Zak Hendrikz leaving the soap opera 7de Laan.

Zak plays the role of Werner Visagie in the South African Afrikaans show. He recently joined the cast in 2022 and has only featured in 50 episodes of the show, which has already released over 2300 episodes. 

Hendrik’s character is a married man with a wife named Tanya Visagie (played by actress Liezl de Kock). He is also the father of Uys Visagie (played by actor Daniel Coetzee) and the son of Augusta Visagie (Hannelie Warren). 

Further, Zak hasn’t been the only cast member rumored to leave the soap opera. Actor Rikus Strauss, who plays Tjattas Botma in the long-running series, was also the subject of rumors online that suggested he was leaving 7de Laan. However, neither of the two have confirmed or denied the gossip surrounding their departure from the show.

Also, there have been no reports of Zak going to a rival network or joining a new show soon.

Zak Hendrikz Death On 7de Laan: Is He Dead Or Alive On The Program?

Earlier in August 2022, rumors of Zak Hendrikz’s death on 7de Laan started circulating on social media.

As per a Twitter post on August 17, Werner Visagie and Marvin Peterson (played by Zak Hendrikz and Duncan Johnson, respectively) were to be killed off the show. However, the show executives have not confirmed the death of the two recurring characters.

For now, the two characters are deemed missing, and the possibility exists that the two actors might not return to the show. Meanwhile, the show’s fans have urged the show’s management not to kill off their favorite characters. 

Considering how much the viewers love Werner and Marvin, killing them off could eventually backfire on the show’s ratings and viewership.

Where Is Zak Hendrikz Now?

Since Zak Hendrikz’s character is missing on 7de Laan, the actor has not made an appearance in the last few episodes of the show.

While his onscreen whereabouts might take a moment to figure out, Zak’s life off the screen is pretty straightforward.

The 40-year-old actor spends many hours working out because of his toned physique. Similarly, Zak is the co-owner of a donkey farm named The Donkey Diary. The company, which was formed alongside Jesse Christelis, is focused on preserving a rare bloodline of donkeys, i.e., the blue-eyed spotted donkey. 

Additionally, Donkey Dairy commercially sells donkey milk which is beneficial for people with milk allergies.

At the moment, the fate of Zak’s character on 7de Laan remains undetermined. Despite demands from viewers to return Werner Visagie onscreen, chances exist that the actor may have left the show for good.
