J.T. Compher, born Joseph Taylor Compher, is a center for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL).
The Buffalo Sabres selected him in the second round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, 35th overall. He attended Glenbrook North High School and played for a number of youth hockey teams in the Chicago area, including the Northbrook Bluehawks and Team Illinois.
