Jusuf Nurkic is a Bosnian-American professional basketball player who currently plays as a center for the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers. He also represents Bosnia and Herzegovina at the international level.
Jusuf Nurkic was a finalist for the FIBA Europe Young Player of the Year award in 2014. His status as a center for the Trail Blazers has earned him the moniker “beast” or “Bosnian greatest.”
The Chicago Bulls selected Bosnian professional basketball player Jusuf Nurkic in the first round of the 2014 NBA draft.
Following his debut, the basketball player was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.

The basketball player was born on August 23, 1994, in Tuzla, Bosnia, and Herzegovina. Hariz and Jasmina, his parents, emigrated to the United States from their native Pakistan. He was only a child at the time.
Hariz Nurkic, Nurkic’s father, is a former police officer from Bosnia’s Zivinice City. Jusuf is also a carbon duplicate of his father, who is 7 feet tall and weighs 181 kg. He was also the first to notice his enthusiasm for basketball.
After several years in the United States, Jusuf’s parents returned to Svojat, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnia and Herzegovina. They are now happily married, and they are savoring every moment of their friendship.

The basketball player’s brother’s name is Kenan Nurkić.

After meeting Trnovcevic, Nurkic was enthralled, and he hired a coach to teach him the fundamentals. The rest, as we all know, is history, and Nurkic did eventually make it to the NBA.

On Saturday, June 12, 2021, the basketball player proposed to his girlfriend on her birthday. They were near the beach in Los Angeles, California, and they were having a good time.
Nurkic’s partner was facing back at the moment, and he surprised her. He then dropped down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. By responding yes, she gladly accepted his proposal. On their wedding day, he also presented her with a pricey diamond ring.
The pair is currently preparing for their wedding.
