Manoj Soni is happily married to his beloved wife, Prutha Soni. The Indian couple has a child together.

Prutha is a teacher at J&J college. Manoj and Prutha have been married for more than fifteen years now.

Their son, Aarsh, is currently studying in grade 12. Manoj and his family are presently living in Mumbai.

Soni joined the UPSC as a member in 2017. Previously, he was vice-chancellor at The Maharaja Sayajirao University and Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University.

Manoj Soni Family Details

Manoj Soni grew up with his family in Mumbai. However, he lived a rough childhood with various family and financial issues.

His father died when Soni was a student in grade five. The UPSC chairman’s late father used to sell semi-finished clothes for a living.

After losing his father, Manoj began working to fund his education and help his mother.

In 1978, he and his mother moved to the Anand district of Gujrat from Mumbai. The names of his parents are not available on the web.
