Marc Fogel's Wife, Jane Fogel Appeal For Help As A Teacher Arrested In Russia
The family of an Oakmont resident who was given a protracted prison term in Russia pleads with US authorities to free their family member, Marc Fogel.
Fogel's family thinks the US government should try its hardest to assist. In the family, there are Mark Fogel's niece, Sarah Jane Grubbs, and his wife, Jane Fogel. Like every family member, Jane appeals to the nation's government to have her husband returned to his home.

Grubbs just wants her uncle to come home to Oakmont. The other niece of Mark and Jane, Ellen Keelan, thinks he won't be able to survive because of his age and health. According to Grubbs and Keelan, the family has not heard from or seen him in 348 days.
The criminal defense attorney, Sasha Philips, claimed that although Marc Fogel's Russian legal representative filed an appeal and will present it to the court soon, they have no grounds to believe that it will reduce his sentence because they consider it politically motivated.
The family said they occasionally correspond via translated, censored letters that frequently lose context.
