It turns out Mary Mcgillicuddy Robinson is not the birth mother of 44th U.S. President Barack Obama’s wife, Michelle Obama. Her birth mother’s name is Marian Shields Robinson, and she is well alive and breathing.
On October 22, 2019, a post on the ObamaWatcher website said that Michelle Obama’s mother had gone away and had given Michael an inheritance. It wrote, “Michelle Obama’s mother, Mary McGillicuddy Robinson, died at age 84. She went peacefully in her sleep.”
However, this was not a natural occurrence. The article came from a website whose output is comical or satirical. The report also uses an unproven, far-fetched conspiracy idea concerning the gender identification of the former first lady.
Numerous suppositions about Michelle’s gender, some even referring to her as “transgender” or a “man,” are made after the hoax. In a 17-minute video titled “Proof Michelle Obama is a man,” the Judgement Center YouTube channel provided all the information based on false news.

If the rumors were to believe, she was 84 years old when she passed away in 2019. So in 2022, she will be around 87 years old, whereas Marian Shields Robinson is 84 this year.
Marian was born Marian Lois Robinson on July 29, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, the U.S.A., to African-American parents, Purnell Nathaniel Shields and Rebecca Jumper.
Marian married at 23 in 1960 to Fraser Robinson III, and they welcomed two children, Craig and Michelle. Craig Malcolm is famous as an American basketball player and coach.
