The popular biker has emerged as the champion of the season after his incredible performance in the final Irish National Road race. Michael got three victories in the Cookstown 100 road races, crossing the line just over 3.5 seconds ahead of Adam McLean and 7.38 seconds ahead of Thomas Maxwell.

The hero of the match Michael Sweeney is a professional motorcycle racer from Ireland. He spent his childhood in Skerries, Ireland. From an early age, he was very much an enthusiast for bikes. He grew up watching the motorcycle race in the Skerries 100. 

The legendary Martin Finnegan was his racing icon and biggest inspiration. He said Martin was not just his idol but also his friend and his biggest mentor. The bike racer was able to get a good influence and was determined to fulfill his mission.

In his first bike race in 2009, in the Manx Grand Prix, Michael debuted. The brave racer was able to get an incredible 10th place in that game. After a year, he returned to the MGP. Sweeney competed in the junior category, where he won his first race, defeating racer Ivan and 76 other competitors in 2010.

In the year 2011, the competitive racer followed this up with two top-five places at the Manx GP. 2013 was the year for him. The hard-working racer won his second Junior Manx Grand Prix. In 2014, Michael got the chance to compete in six races at the Isle of Man TT.

Unfortunately, 2015 was not so good for bike racers as he had a bad crash that year. He made a good comeback in 2016 with his fastest average racing speed of 123.211 mph.

In the year 2018, Michael was able to get a fifth-place finish in the second Supertwins race in Northern Ireland. The outstanding player finished the year in second place overall in both the Irish Road Race Supersport and Superbike Championships. He was also able to win the “Man of the Meeting” title.
