 As a redshirt sophomore in 2021, he struggled with high strikeout rates early in the season. Throughout the season, he reduced his strikeout totals and began hitting for power, earning him a spot on the All-Southeastern Conference First Team.

Over 59 starts in center field, he finished the season batting with twenty home runs and 46 RBIs. He became the fifth Gator baseball player in history to hit twenty home runs in a single season.

Following the season, Fabian was selected in the second round, 40th overall, by the Boston Red Sox in the 2021 Major League Baseball draft. Fabian announced his return to the club on August 1 after failing to reach an agreement with the club on a signing bonus.

Jui Fabian was born on the 27th of September, 2000. He is 21 years old currently.

The player went to Trinity Catholic High School in Ocala, Florida, and played baseball there. In his junior year of 2018, he batted.453 with 11 home runs.

At the age of 18 years old, Jud officially started playing baseball.

That summer, he took part in the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game at Wrigley Field.

He graduated from high school early and enrolled at the University of Florida in January 2019 to play college baseball.

Fabian played in 56 games (54 starts) as a freshman at Florida in 2019, where he grew up. That summer, he played for the Bourne Braves in the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he was the youngest player ever named to the Cape Cod League All-Star Team.

Meanwhile, he batted with five home runs and 13 RBIs in 17 games as a sophomore in 2020 before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meet Jud Fabian’s Brother On Instagram 

Deric Fabian is Jud Fabian’s younger brother, who was also a potential draft pick, but he remained undrafted as of the fifth round on Monday.

He was named Florida Dairy Farmers Mr. Baseball in June.

Both the brothers of the Gator baseball program have tried to maximize the amount of time they have together since becoming teammates for the spring of 2022.

Deric values events, especially since player-fan interactions were limited during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jud, a fourth-year junior, was drafted after hitting 20 home runs last season but returned to school. His desire to play with Deric was one of his motivators.
