Talking about the family of Cody Ackland, his father was a Lance Corporal in the Devonshire and Dorset Regiment, according to his birth certificate. In 2007, the Devon and Dorset Regiment, in which his father served, was absorbed into The Rifles.

Ackland was apprehended when police uncovered a corpse eight miles from where the lady went missing on November 24, 2021. Authorities say there is “no known relationship” between him and the victim.
