What Is Pete Arredondo Political Party and Affiliation? Uvalde Police Chief On Leave Of Absence

Only a shut classroom door stood between Pete Arredondo and a chance to stop the gunman. He was arrested for disciplinary activities, but his political affiliation remains unknown but was affiliated to City Council recently.

It was his decision as chief of the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District Police Department to wait more than an hour for backup rather than calling officers to the scene to charge the shooter who killed 19 pupils and two teachers at Robb Elementary School.

Arredondo is a man in hiding, and the calls for answers and accountability are becoming increasingly louder every day.

Family Of Uvlave Shooting Wants Pete Arredondo Fired

After the Austin American-Statesman published a photo showing armed police in a hallway outside the classrooms where 19 students and two teachers were killed, families of those who died in the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, are demanding responsibility from law enforcement.

The Austin American-Statesman examined the photographs and discovered a timestamp taken about an hour before the gunman was apprehended. Despite possessing firearms and at least one ballistic shield, it’s additional evidence in a widening probe that cops waited before stopping the gunman.

On Tuesday, the evidence will be presented during a public Texas Senate session in Austin.
