Stacey Baca Is Leaving ABC 7 For Family Time, Meet Her Husband Todd Gilchrist And Children

The ABC7 weekend news host has been working with the station for 20 years now. Sharing such a strong bond with the station, Stacey was reluctant to leave her job.

With a hearty smile and a heavy heart, the American anchor broke the news to her fans. 

Baca shared that she will most definitely miss her fans but she would also like to spend time with her family now stating,

” You, all of you out there, have made this such a difficult choice. I love coming here every weekend. I love my job. But I also love family time. My priorities are shifting. Time is the most valuable asset I have right now.”

As a journalist, she must have missed a lot of family moments for her to finally give up the job that she loves so much. 

We can’t blame her for wanting to spend more time with her family. Let’s hope she gets to enjoy the moments she missed with her family. 

The ABC7 journalist is married to her husband Todd Gilchrist for more than 30 years since January 28, 1997. Her husband is a retired Naval Aviator with 22 years of active duty service.

The retired military officer had earned his post-baccalaureate certificate in accounting at Northwestern University. Furthermore, he has also passed the Certified Financial Planner Examination.

Currently, Todd is working as a Financial Planning Coordinator. 

Baca has 3 children with her husband, Todd. The names of her children have not been made public.
