Tim Pringle was born to a cricketer father, Chris Pringle.
His father played for the Blackcaps from 1990 to 1995. He has represented New Zealand in 14 tests and 64 One Day Internationals. A medium pacer, Chris wasn’t a go-to bowler in tests but he surprised everyone by taking an 11-wicket haul in a test game against Pakistan.
