The Love Island contestant Danny Bibby has recently met with the internet’s rage and cancel-culture for saying a racial slur on his now-deleted Instagram post. 

Danny Bibby is a fashion model who came as a contestant in the reality dating show Love Island and fans were not having any of it. 

Producers of Love Island were hyping up the appearance of the model on the show, but the audience was quick to point out his comments on a post with a racial slur, and complaints were filed.

Danny Bibby, The Love Island Star, had a controversy for using a racial slur on his Instagram post, which fans were quick to notice and call him out for. 

Twitter was in chaos, finding out that the popular dating show Love Island was planning to have the model on the show. In today’s age, where all your past is out in the open to see on your social media, one should be very careful as to what you write. 

Social media has become a great way to open up to people, and everyone loves it when you’re being open and honest. But what you say or post may haunt you for the rest of your life.

This case got over 1500 complaints from the fans of the show telling the show to discard the contestant from the show as soon as he was introduced on the screen.

To make the case even worse, the soundtrack used for Danny was Kanye and Jay-Z’s song N***** in Paris, which further infuriated the audience.

The post in question that got Danny Bibby into trouble was him using a racial slur in the comments of a post on his Instagram, which has now been deleted. 

But what’s on the internet always stays on the internet. A fan had screenshotted the comment containing the racial slur and posted it on Twitter, enraging Twitter that someone with a racist background is being allowed on the show while some were canceled from the show for cursing.

Soon, the news spread like wildfire, and people were on his Instagram commenting on his posts for him to be canceled and calling him toxic.

Despite the rage from the public, Love Island did not kick Danny out of the show. Fans were shocked that the case of racism was not taken seriously by the show, and Bibby got to stay in the villa. 

The model apologized to the public for his post and the use of his racial slurs, but the public was not buying it. 

It has been a year now since the racism scandal with the Love Island star, and the controversy seems to have died down, considering the model has around 114k followers on Instagram and not any mean comments calling him out.
